Our artisan stone manufacturers have come up with another amazing technique to turn an ordinary, single colored stone into something completely exciting.  An etching process will embed colorful dyes and pigments deep into the surface of the stone, creating a surface that will not wear but instead age with the use of the stone.  This ordinary brown limestone was turned into a mainly grey floor,

but one that is alive as every slab reacts completely different to the etching process.  The chemical and mechanical patinas are completely hand made.  The size, thickness and shape of the stone can also modified to fit your design needs.  Stair treads, molding, trim and other architectural elements can be created with the same or a matching patina.
