Antique Dalle de Bourgogne 2nd Cut

Antique Dalle de Bourgogne second surface and hand aged. This beautiful antique French limestone was salvaged from the Burgundy region in France which was then further transported to our stone facility in the Provence. Vintage Elements takes the reclaimed stone slabs and cuts off the antique surface as our 1st cut. Since the antique stone slabs are up to 7″ thick we can cut several slices more out of the original stone leaving us with plenty of 2nd cut slabs that we turn into hand aged limestone flooring. The sizes of the slabs are the same as the antique stones and the floor will therefor be installed in a random or Roman pattern. Vintage Elements hand ages the surface with pneumatic chisels and steel brushes but simple hand tools are also used to create authentic surfaces using century old techniques. Floor thickness is 1 1/4″ with slab sizes ranging up to 45″ in length or width. The stone is very dense and lends itself for exterior and interior installation. We can also color select stones if you want to stay within a certain color range and we can focus on certain stone distress pattern to create your own signature floor.
