The wood is authentic and certified French oak, grown, harvested and milled in France – the same oak used for wine barrels – hand selected, infrared dried, distressed, stained, finished and again infrared dried to achieve a durable floor that can be used even in glue down applications if ordered as an engineered product. It is also rated for commercial applications. The aging process is not just skin deep but is worked in deep into the layers and grain of the oak plank. Extensive wear will not diminish the aging effect. Finished with a hard curing European floor oil in matte or satin, this floor will age beautifully in your home and will last forever.
