reclaimed French oak beam cut smoked 003

Cut and milled from reclaimed antique French oak beams and timbers which were common in old farm houses, barns and other structures at the turn of the 18th and 19th century. The planks are very wide and exhibit a nice grain pattern of old growth trees. The wood color is a dark honey that turns into a dark brown towards the center of the planks.

The planks range in width between 8″-12″ and are as long as the beams they were cut from. Common lengths are 10′-14′ but can easily reach 16′-20′. We can supply the planks in various finishing stages ranging from plain milled to planks with a sculpted surface, or brushed, mechanically and chemically aged patina. All our reclaimed French oak planks come with a French certificate of authenticity and antiquity.
